Transport solution concept

"Transport solutions" are combinations of one or more freight products. It is created to ensure 100% delivery to the customer even if an alternative delivery method has to be selected automatically.

transportsolutionId is used in requests to 📍Single Address Check API and 🛎️Booking API

All freight products in a transportsolution are ranked by priority. If the coverage check for the first delivery option fails, the best possible "fallback" option is selected.

Validation of the suitable freight products is mainly done through a coverage check on the consignee's address, but other criteria such as weight and measurements may also be taken into account.

For example, if transportsolutionId:1 is used, Home delivery Standard (freightProductId:1) will be the first option. If there is no coverage, a booking will be done automatically on the next product in line, Hentepakke PUDO delivery (freightProductId:55).
